We are recruiting a Hospital Director to lead the team at Priory Hospital Nottingham!
Located just outside the city centre, Priory Hospital Nottingham is an acute service, providing support for 14 adult males and females who require acute mental health emergency care.
Priory's acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas.

Key Responsibilities
The Hospital Director will have accountability for the financial and operational performance of the hospital, this includes setting the standard by leading the Hospital's Senior Management Team (SMT) and taking ownership for cost control, budgeting, and ensuring regularity requirements are satisfied.
The Hospital Director will also be the Registered Manager; responsible for the delivery of day to day services in line with legal requirements.
The role holder will ensure the service performs to agreed targets for business planning, financial performance and care and quality standards. It is important that the role holder is able to lead and develop a culture where the very highest of standards are consistently delivered and promote and lead on
improvements and innovation in the delivery of the hospital's services.
The Hospital Director will chair the monthly Clinical Governance Meetings (along with any associated governance
committee meetings) and quarterly Medical Advisory
Committee meetings with the support of the Medical Director.###
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

For this role we are requiring someone clinically qualified, so an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered General Nurse (RGN), or HCPC registered and worked in a similar setting at a senior level.
The role holder will be expected to work closely with the HR function at site to establish and direct a recruitment and retention plan in order to meet future staffing needs and manage turnover and agency spend and will also be involved in promoting staff engagement at site.
Additionally candidates will be expected to have experience of commercial accountability with regards to cost control and financial performance.
Extensive managerial and leadership experience is essential with a thorough understanding of developing services for healthcare and a strong record of accomplishment and innovation.
