Hospital Director - Mental Health Rehabilitation, Walsall



Salary: 65,000 | Full Time | Permanent | CQC Rated "Good"

We are now seeking an experienced and clinically qualified leader to guide this high-performing service into its next chapter of excellence.

What you'll be doing





As Hospital Director and Registered Manager, you'll hold accountability for the overall performance of the hospital - operational, clinical, financial and regulatory. You will lead a talented Senior Management Team and multidisciplinary workforce to ensure the delivery of outstanding care, continuous improvement, and sustainable outcomes.

You will:Take strategic ownership of the hospital's performance, governance, and quality standards. Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and compassionate care. Work closely with regional and divisional leaders to achieve business and clinical objectives. Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, clinical governance frameworks, and Priory values. Champion initiatives that enhance patient experience, staff wellbeing, and operational efficiency.


What you'll bring to the role





You'll be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) by background, with proven leadership experience as a Ward Manager, Clinical Lead, Deputy Hospital Director or established Hospital Director seeking a new and meaningful challenge.

You will bring:A deep understanding of mental health and rehabilitation services. Strong financial and operational management capability. The ability to inspire teams and drive a culture of collaboration and high performance. A genuine commitment to delivering the highest standards of patient care.
