Job Description



We are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) that includes working every other weekend.


In this role, you'll support the overall wellbeing of our residents by helping to deliver a first-class hospitality service throughout the home.


Key Responsibilities:


Serving meals, snacks, and beverages in a professional and caring manner


Supporting with mealtime preparation and clearing


Ensuring dining and communal areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming


Providing friendly interaction with residents, encouraging independence and dignity


Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness as required


Working collaboratively with the care and kitchen teams


What We're Looking For:


A positive, approachable attitude with a genuine desire to help others


Good communication and team working skills


Willingness to learn - no previous experience necessary (full training provided)


Flexibility to work alternate weekends


A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service


Required knowledge & experience:


Level 2 food safety certificate.


Health & safety procedures including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH)


Previous catering experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives & kitchen equipment.


Experience of working with older people
