HOSPITALITY CATERING ASSISTANT

The Outward Bound Trust - Ogwen Centre, Nant Ffrancon, Nr Bethesda

12.60/hr. Real Living Wage Employer.

35 Hours per week. Fixed term contract for 5 months (2 February 2026 - 30 June 2026). Live out position.

Love working with people? We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable hands-on team player, who will play an important role ensuring all our guests have a great experience whilst at our outdoor centre based at Ogwen.

Your job will be supporting the kitchen team prepare great food, which is freshly made every day, and helping in the dining room. You'll help prepare hot, home-style meals to keep course participants going in all weathers - from a hearty breakfast to fuel the day, to a well-earned evening meal with plenty to choose from.

You'll work weekday straight shifts from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 1230 - 2030 and 0730 - 1230 on Fridays.

It's a role that puts you right at the heart of daily life at a busy, friendly outdoor learning centre.

What We're Looking For

A friendly, approachable 'can do' attitude Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming Ability to work well as part of a team Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to turn your hand to various tasks Good time management skills Experience in hospitality is helpful, but not essential - full training provided.
