Our Hospitality HR Officer




As the

Hospitality HR Officer

, you will act as a first point of contact for HR-related matters across our hospitality divisions, including Hotel and Visitor Attraction. You will provide proactive, effective HR support with a strong focus on employee relations and attendance and absence management. This is a key operational role supporting leaders and line managers in delivering best-in-class people management while upholding our values and HR policies.

Key Responsibilities



Act as the first point of contact for employee relations (ER) matters within hospitality departments. Manage and support ER casework including investigations, disciplinary processes, performance issues, and grievances. Provide guidance to managers on absence management, including return-to-work interviews, long-term sickness, and occupational health referrals. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all HR activity, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal procedures. Support line managers in implementing HR policies and procedures fairly and consistently. Contribute to the development of training and development initiatives including supporting delivery of Induction, department inductions and any relevant training delivery within the Hospitality divisions. Contribute to regular reporting on ER metrics, absence trends, and compliance monitoring. Collaborate with the wider HR team on employee engagement initiatives, learning and development activities, policy reviews, and HR projects.

What we're looking for



Essential



Experience in a similar HR Advisor or Officer role within hospitality or a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Understanding of UK employment law and best practice in employee relations and absence management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and sensitivity. Proficient in using HR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Desirable



CIPD Level 5 or working towards. Experience working within a luxury hospitality or service-led business.
