Box Manager - Box Tacos, Guardbridge

Box Tacos is a busy, independent taco takeaway beside Coelbrew Brewery, serving delicious Mexican-style food made from scratch. We're looking for a

reliable, confident

manager to join our small, friendly team.

This is a

fast-paced, customer-facing role

, ideal for someone who enjoys being busy, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in great food and service. You must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable leading a shift.

The role includes:

Friendly customer interaction Stock management, opening/closing, and cleaning Directing and training team members Preparing and cooking food to a high standard Freedom to create 'specials' on the menu Working efficiently during busy services, including supervising team members

You'll need to be:

Positive, reliable and capable of working independently and in a small team Available for regular weekend work and throughout summer Confident, tidy and able to follow procedures Physically able and happy working semi-outdoors in all weather Experienced in hospitality at supervisor level or above, cooking experience ideal but not essential Comfortable around hot kitchen equipment including friers and grills Living close enough to commute daily to Guardbridge

What you'll get:

Consistent hours (paid salary or hourly rate) 34.5 per week (Includes weekends but no early starts or late nights!) 5 days per week; 10am-3:30pm (Sun-Thu), 10am-7:30pm (Fri-Sat) 7 weeks paid holiday per year (5 weeks during seasonal business closure and 2 movable at your choice) Your birthday off (paid!) There is also scope for extra hours or progression to our Dundee restaurants.
