Job Summary

As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in a kitchen or culinary settings is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive rapport with guests. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both guests and team members.
