Are you passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences? We're looking for a proactive and organised Hospitality Supervisor to lead our hospitality operations at Hartpury. From large-scale sporting and equine events to formal dinners and private functions, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and motivate hospitality staff to maintain high standards of service
Manage hospitality bookings and liaise with clients to ensure all requirements are met
Coordinate events using internal systems and booking portals
Lead the setup and delivery of events, from casual fixtures to formal occasions
Act as the main point of contact for clients during events, resolving queries and issues
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage resources efficiently
Collaborate with catering, events, and facilities teams for seamless service delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing service enhancements
What We're Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, catering, or events
Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise under pressure
Professional and approachable with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak event periods
Desirable Skills
Experience in high-end hospitality, sports, or equine event environments
Familiarity with event booking systems or hospitality software
Food hygiene or health & safety training/qualification
Previous experience in a college or university setting
