Hours: 5 over 7 days including weekends and shift work
Salary: 26,464.68 per annum
Working Weeks: 52 weeks per year
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences? We're looking for a proactive and organised Hospitality Supervisor to lead our hospitality operations at Hartpury. From large-scale sporting and equine events to formal dinners and private functions, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate hospitality staff to maintain high standards of service
  • Manage hospitality bookings and liaise with clients to ensure all requirements are met
  • Coordinate events using internal systems and booking portals
  • Lead the setup and delivery of events, from casual fixtures to formal occasions
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during events, resolving queries and issues
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage resources efficiently
  • Collaborate with catering, events, and facilities teams for seamless service delivery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing service enhancements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, catering, or events
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Professional and approachable with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak event periods
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in high-end hospitality, sports, or equine event environments
  • Familiarity with event booking systems or hospitality software
  • Food hygiene or health & safety training/qualification
  • Previous experience in a college or university setting
