About the Show:



Paradise Under The Stars

is a bold new production inspired by Havana's iconic Tropicana Club. Guests are transported to a dazzling 1950s Cuban night of music, dance, and vibrant hospitality, with a 7-piece Cuban band, singers, and dancers leading the show. As with all TLE productions, food and drink are integrated into the storytelling, with menus inspired by classic Cuban recipes and cocktail culture.

About the Role - A Unique Hybrid for Performers & Hosts



We are seeking a charismatic and confident

Host

to join our immersive production. This is the perfect opportunity for professional actors or performers looking for flexible, engaging work between gigs -- a role where your stage presence and hospitality instincts can shine together.

As Host, you'll open the evening and set the tone for the entire experience. You'll welcome and seat guests, assist in service coordination, and be an essential presence throughout the night. This is not a behind-the-scenes role - it's a performance in its own right, and your storytelling ability, charm, and confidence are key.

This is a hybrid role

, blending theatrical skills with front-of-house excellence. You'll be fully immersed in the world of 1950s Havana and responsible for maintaining that energy, character, and charm throughout the show.

We're especially keen to hear from:



Performers between gigs looking for regular, meaningful creative work Those with a Cuban background or Spanish-speaking ability Performers comfortable using an American accent in-character

What You'll Do:



Greet and seat guests in-character Deliver key lines and moments of scripted performance (non-verbal acting and improvisation also welcome!) Manage VIP and influencer guests with warmth and professionalism Touch tables, solve problems, and support the service team in maintaining a high-quality guest experience Liaise with security, event, and FOH teams for smooth operations Uphold food safety, hygiene, and guest wellbeing standards

Requirements:



Strong background in hospitality OR theatre/performance with hospitality crossover Public speaking and character confidence Flexible, curious, and comfortable in fast-paced environments Food Hygiene Level 2 Allergen awareness and COSHH trained (or willing to train) First aid trained (or willing to train)

Interview Process:



Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a short video of themselves performing a short piece of our Host's welcome speech - just as you would on stage. We're looking for energy, storytelling, and charm.

: 17/hr (inclusive of tronc)
