About the role
Our hostel for families provides support and accommodation to prepare families in securing and maintaining a tenancy. The hostel can be a fast-paced environment, where residents are supported with a wide range of needs including domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental ill health and child protection issues.
As a Hostel Assistant, you will ensure Supported Housing residents and stakeholders are provided with a high-quality service as the first point of contact. The role involves working with tenants who may be difficult to engage with and as such you should have the skills to build trusting and respectful relationships. The role is also key to maintaining safe and secure accommodation for tenants.
About you
You will have a good standard of education, demonstrable experience of working in a reception role, safeguarding along with IT & communication skills.
As a Hostel Assistant, you will need to have previous experience of maintaining a safe and secure environment, health & Safety and working as part of a team.
