Hot Air Welder

. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop specialist skills in the manufacturing and fitting of vehicle side curtains.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate hot air welding equipment (full training provided) Manufacture and fit side curtains for commercial vehicles Measuring side curtains Measure materials accurately using both Metric and Imperial systems Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Use a range of power tools confidently and safely Work at height, including on ladders, to fit and install products Handle and lift heavy materials as part of daily tasks Maintain high attention to detail to ensure product quality Collaborate with the production team and follow job specification

What We're Looking For:

Good understanding of English (verbal and written) Mathematical aptitude and ability to work with measurements Confidence in using power tools Comfortable working at heights Due to nature of product, heavy lifting will be required Flexible with working hours - overtime and occasional Saturday work required Possess a clean UK driving license Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn new skills

Desirable:

Previous experience in manufacturing, textiles, or welding is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided.
