Deli / Hot Food Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to work as the Manager/Supervisor of our Randalstown deli / hot food counter.

This role is day time shifts only (6am - 3pm) across a 6 day rota (Monday to Saturday) - offering a good work/life balance (no evenings required)

We are looking for an experienced cook/chef manager who can lead a small team to provide an exceptional daily offering in our hot food and deli counters in store.

What you'll do in this role:

You will have a hands-on role in managing the delis and hot food offering in the store.

You role is to provide an attractive, high quality daily offering of deli/food to go in store. You will be responsible for a small deli teams in all aspects of the deli from stock ordering; menus, food preparation; instore bakery; counter presentation and customer service ensuring at all times the highest level of health, safety and hygiene standards. You will train, motivate and manage your team to provide an exceptional level of deli and hot food offering for our loyal customer base.

What we are looking for in our Manager

You will need to have previous experience of team leader or supervising a small team; working in and managing a busy retail food to go/kitchen environment and a good working knowledge of health, safety and hygiene responsibilities;

Hot food / deli team leader or manager experience in busy retail site Experience in managing and organising a small customer focused team Proven track record in cooking and preparing menus for hot food outlets Experience of training and mentoring new staff A working knowledge of HACCP policies, allergens and health and hygiene documentation Level 2 Food hygiene certificate
