The Role

We're currently looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking individual to join our busy Delivery and Service Team based in Waltham Chase, Hampshire. As a Delivery Technician, you'll travel across the South of England and the Midlands, delivering and installing Hot Tubs and Endless Pools at customers' homes. Working alongside another team member, you'll:

Safely transport and position hot tubs or pools

Connect them to the customer's power supply

Fill them with water

Fit and assemble any accessories

Provide a hands-on demonstration to the customer

Present service plan options to the customer (commission paid if you sign up customers)

You'll be representing Happy Hot Tubs in customers' homes, so excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are essential.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but this is a very physically demanding role so candidates must be able to safely lift, pull and carry heavy loads. Candidates must also be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, rain or shine!

This role requires flexibility, with frequent extended hours required during our peak Spring/Summer season to meet business demand, and Saturday shifts to be worked on a rota basis.

Location

You will be based at our head office in Waltham Chase in Southampton, but will travel to customer homes in the South of England and the Midlands.

Hours

Monday to Friday, plus Saturday shifts on a rota basis.

Start time between 7-8am (start time will vary depending on business needs).

Finish time will vary depending on workload/traffic conditions on the day but you will be guarantee a minimum of 8 hours work per day.

Must be prepared to work long shifts, especially during our peak Spring/Summer season.

Person Specification

Essential:

Full driving license and minimum 5 years driving experience.

No experience necessary as full training provided, but should have prior experience with hand tools and power tools.

Able to safely lift, pull and carry heavy loads.

Happy to work outside in all weather.

Positive can do attitude.

Friendly and courteous manner.

Reliable and punctual.

Trustworthy.

Successful candidate must be willing to undertake a basic DBS check. Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory results. If your check shows a previous conviction, we may need to discuss this further with you and it could lead to the withdrawal of an offer of employment.

Desirable:

Clean driving license.

Experience pulling trailers.

Previous delivery experience.
