About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic part time Hospitality Assistant to join our small, dynamic team. In this role, you'll help ensure every guest feels welcome and enjoys a memorable stay.

This position is perfect for someone with strong customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and a reliable nature.

Please Note Before Applying

You'll need to be reasonably available Monday-Friday (7am-10:30pm) and weekends. Occasionally, you may be asked to cover overnight shifts (10:30pm-5am) when night staff are on holiday. Please keep in mind this may not suit everyone. This role may not be ideal for students with demanding schedules. Multilingual applicants are encouraged to apply, but fluent English is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services

Warmly welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out. Manage reservations and respond to inquiries in person, by phone, or online. Share knowledge of the hotel and local attractions.

Food Preparation & Service

Prepare and serve English breakfasts and simple evening meals (training provided). Provide excellent bar and restaurant service.

Team Support & Other Duties

Work with housekeeping and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the hotel. Pitch in with other tasks as needed--teamwork is at the heart of this role.

What We're Looking For

Fluent English and strong communication skills (extra languages are a plus). A friendly, professional approach with great customer service skills. Attention to detail and the ability to stay organised in a busy environment. Reliability, flexibility, and a "can-do" attitude.

Work Schedule

Part time role 10-20 hours per week, more during staff holiday cover. Shifts are scheduled across seven days a week between 6:30am and 10:30pm. Some overnight cover may be required during night staff holidays, this cover is 10:30pm to 5am, so please be aware. Extra hours may be required during staff holidays.

Pay Rate

Age-related National Minimum Wage (NMW).
