The Dunavon Hotel is a proud, family-run business, and we're looking for a motivated Duty Manager to join our team in Dyce. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires confidence across reception, administration, food & beverage, and duty management.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our family run establishment.

As Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering excellent guest experiences. You'll lead the team in a positive and professional way, taking ownership and showing initiative in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Hosting and overseeing all operational aspects of service, ensuring that all departments adhere to company policies and procedures. Anticipating and meeting guest needs Managing busy periods with confidence and efficiency Maintaining and developing service standards Cash handling, tills, and end-of-shift balancing Responding to enquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally Contributing to our online presence through social media posts Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver high standard guest services. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the premises. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and staff performance.

Experience

Previous supervisory/management experience in reception and/or food & beverage is helpful but not essential. Experience with EPOS & FOH systems Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team A friendly, approachable personality with a passion for hospitality and professional growth

Pay: 26,500.00-28,500.00 per year
