We are offering a chance to work as part of a dedicated and friendly team in a well-established hotel and spa in Somerset. The Webbington Hotel and Spa is looking for a full time Duty Manager, ideally with some experience in food and beverage. This opportunity is for an enthusiastic career person who would enjoy operating in a busy Wedding, Conference and Banqueting environment.

The Person

The Role

To ensure the profitable operation of the hotel and the achievement of budget. To sell and promote the facilities and services of the hotel assessing and exploiting all sales opportunities. To supervise the day to day running of the bars and conference and banqueting operation ensuring that all departments are informed of locations and times of service. To show facilities to prospective clients and accept bookings, making sure to record bookings correctly and to complete follow up paperwork. To take overall responsibility for the correct lay out and servicing of conference rooms, and to report any deficiencies in conditions of rooms and equipment to the manager. To monitor guest satisfaction with Food, Beverage and Accommodation operation. To ensure the bar and restaurant staff are carrying out their duties as required. To see that all operational standards and instructions, as set down by the manager are maintained. To ensure that the requirements of the hotel licenses are strictly observed. To ensure that the hotel is maintained to the standard set down by the manager. Monitor the cost of labour and make recommendations to keep the costs down. Superb Rates of Pay
As a senior manager you will work 5 days out of 7 and will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining an excellent hospitality service with a customer focus, to exceed the requirements of the guests.
