Hotel Duty Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced part-time Hotel Duty Manager with a strong food & beverage background and who likes to be hands-on within the business.
You will be involved with the day-to-day operations of the hotel including food and beverage (bar, restaurant, kitchen), front of house and housekeeping.
We aim to become a busy operation across all departments (i.e. weddings, bar, restaurant, conferences/meetings and bedrooms, etc.).
You must possess excellent customer service skills and attributes. This position is for someone with the experience and personality to accept serious responsibilities, who will set high standards for the team.
:
Overseeing day-to-day operations at the hotel including all functions. Monitor and maximise profitability of all departments. Prepare for monthly food and liquor stocktakes. Oversee recruitment, orientation and training of all staff. Ensure all hotel standards and procedures are met. Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and fire regulations. Must have a valid personal licence for this role. DBS disclosure required.
Hours of work: Working any 3 days out of 7 (20-25 hours per week).
Rate of pay: 12.50-13.00
