Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and public areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly. Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms and handling guest requests. Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure timely availability of clean linens. Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with an ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues professionally. A commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. A genuine interest in providing outstanding service within the hospitality industry.
