for the upkeep of the hotel & cottages complex (all within 3 miles radius). A maintenance person's day-to-day job is extremely varied and could see you painting a wall one day and repairing a broken toilet the next. You will work alongside an other member of the Maintenance team as many work needed as a team to move large items or completing a bigger project, but most occasions will be carrying task on your own.
Tasks will also include:
looking after the utilities - meter readings
Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
Perform minor fixes
Minor plumbing
Clearing or cleaning general areas
Maintaining property exterior through the different areas by painting, weed removal, collecting rubbish etc.
General carpentry work
Maintenance of hot tubs and spa's
Painting, decorating & tiling.
Assembling and Moving furniture
Hours of work:
We are looking for someone on a Full-time or Part-time basis. Ideally working on Saturday and 2-4 days in the weekdays, hours from 10am to 5.30pm. You will be expected to work-on at times in emergencies, and we will pay extra if needed to come back to hotel late in the evening/weekend for call-outs.
Rate of Pay:
To exceed minimum wages - Depending on experience and qualification
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for somebody who has experience of performing a similar role. Ideally you will be a handy person or have worked in a particular trade previously. You will be a good communicator with a keen eye for detail and be customer focused at all times.
