Lazaat Hotel is located to the west of Hull and close to the town of Beverley. We are a busy (43 bedroom) hotel offering good quality food & beverage as well as excellent bedroom, conference and event facilities.

In this maintenance role you will be responsible for the care and upkeep of the building, ensuring that all areas are in full working order at all times. You will also be responsible for all aspects of a proactive and preventative maintenance program. Guest care and service is at the forefront of all tasks undertaken.
The role is mainly Monday to Friday, though some occasional weekend way may be required.
Both full-time & part-time applications will be considered.
KEY TASKS
Maintain a high standard of repairs, ensuring high levels of attention and professionalism whilst respecting guest privacy.
Maintaining the grounds of the Hotel, making sure all areas are clean, tidy and in line with health & safety regulations.
'Hands-on' skills are required - ensuring all services, equipment, systems, fixtures and fittings are maintained in perfect working order.
Regular tasks include bulb changing, furniture repairs, basic plumbing duties, troubleshooting, ordering spares and replacements.
Advise when major work is needed or contractors are required.
Carry out effective, planned, preventative maintenance
You will also be responsible for Health & Safety issues within the hotel and for ensuring that the hotel complies to statutory regulations.
Carry out quality checks ensure safe working.
