2 shifts covering 11pm to 7am

: The Coed-y-Mwstwr hotel is a charming Victorian mansion set in Bridgend in a leafy, wooded hillside with far-reaching view across the rolling pastures of the Vale of Glamorgan and beyond to the North Devo coast. Step inside and a warm, Welsh welcome awaits our guests, with the odd dog or two for company. Our name means 'whispering trees', and our guests are awakened with the gentle sounds of the forest. We're in a great spot for exploring the town, countryside and the Glamorgan Heritage coast, or our guests can just stay put, with a roaring fire, a few cocktails, imaginative modern Welsh cuisine, or an afternoon tea with friends in our wonderful home.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Maestro:

We're seeking a passionate person who will support our quest to deliver exceptional customer experiences. We pride ourselves in our warm welsh welcome and this would range from managing their luggage, supporting 24-hour room service to supporting them on check-in and taking care of their needs. Immerse yourself in the locality and share this information with our guests so they get the best out of their stay.

Team Player:

Be part of an amazing team, helping each other out, and supporting each team within the hotel when you are on duty. Small hotels require a great team ethos and your responsibilities would be varied due to covering the over-night duties.

Quality Extraordinaire:

We pride ourselves on delivery of a quality overall experience to our guests so checking our spaces and cleaning where required is just part of what we do. Carry out night audits, and handover all relevant details to our morning team.

Requirements:

Experience: No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn, be part of a team and immerse yourself in what needs to be done to create guest experiences Passionate Personality: Perfect for creating positive guest experiences and cherished memories. Team Catalyst: The ability to work as a team, picking up a variety of tasks on night duty.
