Draycote Hotel & Whitefields Golf Club are seeking an experienced, professional Hotel Night Porter with a strong hospitality focus and a minimum of two years' hospitality/porter /concierge experience. We are looking for someone who has delivered outstanding service and exceptional customer care in a quality hospitality, hotel, venue or office environment.
You will be responsible for covering the night reception desk, hotel closedown, assisting the food & beverage and housekeeping/cleaning operations, and the security of the premises working as part of the operational hotel team.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in security, concierge, hospitality and reception duties in a busy reception/front of house/hotel operation.
You must also have had direct responsibility for premises security and front of house concierge/porter duties and be totally dedicated to the delivery of service excellence, full engagement and effective communication amongst your teams and customers.
Be fully up-to-date with all necessary fire evacuation, licensing and Health & Safety legislation and building compliance.
Be able to prioritise the security and safety of the hotel, property, staff, customers, stakeholders, and third-party contractors.
Be able to adapt your skills to meet the needs of our clients, delegates, guests and stakeholders.
Be courteous, knowledgeable, and professional with humility and grace, yet be confident and passionate about the work you perform.
As Hotel Night Porter, you will work full-time on night shifts as required by the operation and usually '4 nights on, 4-nights off' from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am including weekends. You will need to be flexible with the nights you are able to work.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist with their check-in, departure, inquiries or requests.
Undertake overnight cleaning duties and schedules in public areas, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere.
Undertake overnight security walks to ensure the security of the hotel premises, property and people.
Assist with luggage handling and transportation for guests as needed.
Monitor the condition of facilities and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance guest experience.
Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality throughout all interactions.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the establishment.
Work with the food & beverage team in covering bar duties and in the delivery and close down of functions, wedding and events
Experience
Previous experience in a hospitality or guest services role is preferred, specifically night team duties.
Strong customer service skills to handle all enquiries professionally.
Effective communication skills with diverse guests and other staff.
A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service in a hotel or similar environment is highly valued.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
