We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring security of the premises at night, and setting up for breakfast and functions. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks that enhance the overall guest experience, including providing exceptional customer service with Room service orders and maintaining the cleanliness of the premises.
Hours would be 10.30pm - 7.30am
(With 1 Hour unpaid Break)
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their needs, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and entrances.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide directions or information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Ensure that all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies, such as refreshments, breakfast items.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, such as room service or wake up calls, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest services and operations.
- Liaise with our food and beverage team to set up for functions and set up the restaurants ready for the morning.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by the hotel's operational needs.
