We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily functioning of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for hospitality. The Hotel Operations Manager will play a vital part in upholding the hotel's reputation for excellence and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Duties
Oversee all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery
Lead and supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment
Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Coordinate with human resources on recruitment, staffing schedules, and staff development initiatives
Monitor financial performance, optimise operational costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and service quality
Organise regular staff meetings to communicate updates, set goals, and promote teamwork
Analyse guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Skills
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive working environment
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff
Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and employee relations
Extensive hotel experience with a comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication skills both written and verbal in English; additional languages are advantageous
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues promptly
