A day in the life of...
As Operations Manager you will create and implement standard operating procedures to be adhered to across all departments within the hotel
You'll ensure performance is managed effectively at all levels and work with the Senior team to contribute to the overall strategic plan for the business, utilising all available opportunities to drive revenue and manage the overall running of the hotel in the GMs absence
You'll monitor guest feedback and putting together an action plan that puts the customer experience first and foremost
You'll work closely with Heads of Department to effectively recruit and develop their teams and ensure a culture of team engagement and service excellence is always adhered to.
With the opportunity to deputise for the General Manager and create workforce plans, this role offers a fantastic senior step for those with aspirations of a General Manager position. Utilising their experience, the Operations Manager will also play a key role in levelling up the daily guest experience.
What do we need from you?
Experience and a successful track record of managing at HOD level within a hotel or hospitality venue, experience within a major global brand is preferred.
Strong leadership skills: Our operations Managers are strong leaders with the ability to motivate and manage our hotel team with extensive experience in creating and implementing strategies that drive success.
You'll have extensive experience of working within structured team environment and able to demonstrate effective influencing skills.
You'll be highly commercially driven, thinking like a customer but always acting like an owner.
Highly motivated and enthusiastic and good team player.
Experience managing a busy team to improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues, recognising good performance.
Food and beverage expierence is necessary.
Financial awareness is essential.
Previous expierence in team management.
