Hotel Operations & Sales Manager (Right-Hand Hero!)

Steventon House Hotel is a boutique 20-bedroom hotel with a beautiful garden terrace and a modern Indian restaurant. We're independently owned, well-loved by guests, and surrounded by 3,000+ new homes -- meaning opportunity is on our doorstep. We're rebuilding momentum and need an experienced, all-round operations star to help lead the charge.

The Role



This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who wants to step into a key leadership position and genuinely

make a difference

. Working directly with the owner, you'll manage daily operations, deliver standout guest experiences, and

actively increase sales

across bedrooms, events, and the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee hotel operations: housekeeping, front desk, breakfast standards, general upkeep Lead guest services and respond to queries/issues with professionalism Conduct show-arounds and convert bookings for weddings, events, and corporate stays Proactively generate and convert leads to

grow sales in rooms, events, and restaurant trade

Coordinate staff and rota management; cover shifts when needed Manage suppliers, stock levels, and systems admin Deliver and oversee events to ensure high-quality experiences Help implement system improvements and streamline processes Support day-to-day tasks: room checks, linen orders, basic maintenance liaison

About You



3+ years of hotel, venue, or hospitality management experience Proven ability to increase revenue through direct sales and upselling Confident, organised, and calm under pressure Sales-minded: able to engage clients and close bookings Happy to take ownership and handle multiple tasks daily Familiar with property management and booking systems Able to work flexibly, including some weekends and evenings ?

Must have the legal right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available for this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,500.00-35,000.00 per year
