We are currently looking for a professional and enthusiastic
Hotel Receptionist
to join our team at a well-established and reputable hotel.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and check in guests with professionalism and warmth
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
Manage room reservations and assignments using the hotel's booking system
Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
Answer incoming calls and direct them to the relevant departments or personnel
Support administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Maintain a clean and presentable front desk area that reflects the hotel's standards
Conduct room checks to ensure they meet quality standards before guest arrival
Assist with bar service when required
Respond to guest emails in a timely and courteous manner
Requirements
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Strong telephone etiquette and customer service skills
Previous experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles is preferred
Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail
Familiarity with hotel operations and procedures is advantageous
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract, Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to 12.44 per hour
