We are seeking a casual summer Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome upon arrival. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the hospitality industry. A bilingual or multilingual ability is highly desirable, as it enhances our guest services and caters to a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Handle reservations and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and payments.
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls as necessary.
Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and organisation at the reception area.
Experience
Rezlynx experience preferred but not essential
Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment preferred but not essential.
Strong guest service skills with a proven ability to handle customer interactions positively.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential
