Britannia Study Hotel, a 134 bedroom hotel in central Brighton, is seeking a customer service professional to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, immaculately presented and have previous customer service experience, ideally within the hospitality or retail industries. An excellent standard of spoken and written English and good IT skills are essential. Hours of work are 8 hours per shift, 5 days a week, on rotation, between 07.00 and 23.00. Duties including making reservations, taking payments, assisting guest check-ins/check-outs and liaising with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure high standards are maintained. The receptionist will also provide concierge services and assistance to guests, such as booking taxis, making restaurant reservations and resolving problems. Other administrative tasks include answering telephones, sending emails and maintaining accurate records as well as keeping the reception area clean & tidy.
