Part Time Hotel Receptionist/Admin Assistant
Working 1 - 2 days per week. Includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Additional shifts may become available at busy times.
Successful candidate must have excellent customer service and IT skills. We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who is able to take & manage bookings for overnight guests, afternoon tea, spa and restaurant. They'll need to be able to problem solve, cross sell and work as the central hub of each department. Excellent communication, both written and verbal is vital.
Duties Include:-
Welcoming and checking guests in and out.
Deliver excellent customer service at all times, ensuring guests are happy and dealing with any requests or enquiries in a professional manner.
Administer all reservations including invoicing, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy in a prompt and efficient manner.
Cross selling services and products to customers. Ensuring all guests have the correct information during their stay. Being open and approachable to guests needs.
Having excellent knowledge of the local area and being able to find the information required for the customer.
Answering queries and reviews in a timely manner
Assisting with the organisation of events.
Helping in other departments when needed.
Provide reports, as required, for housekeepers, kitchen and management
Carry out instructions when given by management.
Assist in keeping hotel reception area clean & tidy at all times.
Shifts start as early as 6am and can finish as late as 11pm, sometimes later if required. Daily shifts are usually 6 - 9 hours long.
Successful candidate must have :-
An excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Basic computer knowledge. Be able to use word documents, spreadsheets & databases.
Be able to work flexibly
Have use of a car. We're not on a public transport route.
