We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk and supporting various administrative tasks. A background in hospitality or guest services is essential, along with strong phone etiquette, PMS knowledge and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about services, amenities, and local attractions.
Assist with check-in and check-out processes in a timely manner.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
Coordinate bookings and reservations as needed, ensuring accuracy in all details.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Experience
Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is required, particularly within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficient in using office equipment and basic computer software applications.
