Join our friendly team at The Old Bell Hotel - England's oldest hotel - and be the welcoming face for our guests.
Responsibilities
Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Ensure knowledge of the hotel and opening times for all areas
Check guests in and out of the hotel in a friendly manner
Provide an excellent service to all guests throughout the hotel
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay
Booking guests in over the phone and in person for a stay
Be confident, reliable and work well as part of a team
Take payments for guests stays
Ensure the reception and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
To have a genuine and warm approach, with stand out people skills
Good communication skills, and level of English - both written and spoken
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary computer programs
Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under pressure
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Previous experience is preferred but we are more interested in your passion for great customer service and exceptional people skills
