Hotel Receptionist
Primary Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hotel Receptionist to join our Team. The successful applicant will assist in creating a positive impression when meeting and greeting guests, ensuring excellent customer service at all times so that guests feel welcome and relaxed when visiting the resort.
About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
To accurately complete all reception and booking documentation and operate the hotel computer systems competently
To ensure that phones are answered in a friendly manner
To deal with all calls efficiently
To maintain full up to date knowledge of the resort services and products including spa, hotel events and facilities
To take reservations and enter bookings on the system
To deal with all guests and visitors to the Resort in a welcoming and professional manner
To maintain hotel procedures and fire policies
To follow procedures for cashing up and banking
To maintain, develop and monitor the client database
To ensure Reception area and desk are clean and tidy at all times
To maximise selling opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity
Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times.
Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures.
Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures all times
Receive customer complaints and feedback and direct them to appropriate offices for resolution.

  • NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy
  • Willingness to undertake further training.
  • Ability to provide clear instruction

  • In-depth knowledge of spa products and procedures and their effects
