Hotel Sales Manager
to lead our
Events team
and drive revenue growth across all key segments. This is a hands-on, strategic role for a results-driven professional with a passion for hospitality and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Lead the hotel's sales strategy for
meetings, weddings, conferences, and events
.
Generate new business through corporate clients, agencies, and local organisations.
Manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM and ensure prompt follow-up.
Work with the Revenue Manager on pricing, diary management, and yield optimisation.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Event Management & Client Relations
Manage the
Events team
, ensuring enquiries, proposals, and events run smoothly.
Oversee all weddings, meetings, conferences, and social events to ensure high client satisfaction.
Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and show rounds to secure bookings.
Gather feedback and implement improvements to drive repeat business.
Leadership & Collaboration
Inspire, coach, and develop the Events team to exceed sales targets.
Work with General Manager, Marketing, F&B, and Revenue teams to align sales strategy.
Promote a positive, performance-focused culture across the department.
Reporting & Systems
Record all enquiries, bookings, and client communications in CRM/booking systems.
Produce weekly and monthly sales reports analysing performance and conversion.
Use data and insights to inform strategy and improvements.
About You
Proven experience in hotel sales and
meetings, weddings, conferences, or events management
.
Strong commercial understanding of pricing, yield, and revenue growth.
Confident leader with team management experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Organised, target-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in CRM and hotel booking systems.
Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional client experiences.
