Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to join our team. The successful candidates will ensure the safety and security of residents and staff at a bridging hotel based in the Crawley area. This role requires a valid DSIA Security License and a commitment to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Key Responsibilities:



Control access to the premises, ensuring secure entry and exit points. Monitor the premises using CCTV cameras. Patrol the premises and respond to incidents as needed. Implement and follow emergency protocols. Manage visitor registration and monitoring. Maintain physical barriers to prevent unauthorized access. Provide support to welfare officers and other staff as needed.

Qualifications:



Valid security license (DSIA) with demonstrated security experience. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, both days and nights. Ability to oversee sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Observation Skills: Keen eye for detail to monitor CCTV cameras and patrol the premises effectively. Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to respond to incidents and implement emergency protocols. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact professionally and empathetically with residents and visitors. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of security equipment, such as CCTV systems and access control devices. Organisational Skills: Ability to manage visitor registration and maintain physical barriers. Adaptability: Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, both days and nights. Teamwork: Collaboration with welfare officers and other staff to ensure a safe environment
