We have an opportunity for a Hotel Services Lead to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Manage and support the Portering and Housekeeping teams to ensure timely and professional delivery of services across all areas of the hospital.
Oversee core portering duties, including patient and goods movement, site security, and gas management, where applicable.
Ensure all housekeeping services, including room and theatre cleaning, laundry handling, and room setup, meet policy and infection prevention standards.
Carry out cleaning audits and ensure corrective actions are followed through effectively.
Act as a key point of contact for patients, visitors, and consultants, managing feedback on hospitality services and ensuring satisfaction.
Ensure staff compliance with all mandatory training and that service delivery adheres to hospital policies and health & safety regulations.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Previous experience managing operational teams within hospitality or healthcare environments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A basic understanding of MS Excel and administrative processes.
A hospitality or facilities services qualification (desirable).
An understanding of cleanliness and infection control standards in a clinical or hotel setting.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
