We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated

Short Courses / Horticulture Lecturer

to join the East Durham College Team on a full time basis.

Main Duties of the Role

:

To deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results within an exam-based qualification. To inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of horticulture and our breadth of short course offers as well as formal practical delivery to industry standards. To deliver NPTC short courses.

Essential Requirement:

Have specialist knowledge from the Arboriculture/Forestry /Short Course/Horticulture Industry Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one Hold at least a Level 3 or equivalent in relevant subject area Be a strong team player, have excellent administration skills and demonstrate a willingness to engage with external partners and industry Be a highly motivated lecturer with experience of providing theoretical support to students being advantageous
