The role:
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified practitioner to join the Visual Arts Department to deliver silversmithing classes on a casual basis at the vibrant Llwyn y Bryn Campus of Gower College Swansea. These classes are well established and popular with the learners.
17.53 - 34.51 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Hours: 4 hours per week, could include daytime or evening
Llwyn y Bryn Campus, Swansea
Key Responsibilities:
To deliver silversmithing classes to adult learners.
Prepare lessons and order materials as required.
Promote classes via the college website and social media.
Be responsible for Health and Safety in the classroom.
About you:
Possess a relevant degree and have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one.
Experience in delivering silversmithing classes with a good understanding of the processes involved in making silver jewellery.
A confident communicator and committed individual who can engage and inspire learners of all abilities by tailoring the classes to suit all learners.
