An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Leisure Assistant to join our Sports department as part of the Construction, Engineering and Service Industries team reporting to our Curriculum Manager. We are friendly, hardworking team that provides sports facilities for external clubs and organisations, seeking hourly paid staff to support in the staffing of the amenities on both an evening and weekend.





As a Leisure Assistant with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for setting up all sports equipment and resources required for the bookings taking place in both the sports hall and on the 3G pitch. You will be required to support customers with any issues and concerns and deliver a high level of service at all times. You will be responsible for the health and safety of players and spectators, and ensure a high level of cleanliness during each shift.





The ideal candidate will be reliable and responsible and have previous experience of delivering high standards of customer service. They will be able to work independently, using their own initiative and possess excellent problem-solving and IT skills. You will be organised, resilient and have an attention to detail for all aspects of health and safety linking to sports activities.





A knowledge of a range of sports would be advantageous, along with experience of working with members of the public previously. All training for using internal systems will be provided. This is an hourly paid role where shifts will be allocated on a monthly basis The need to be available on evenings and weekends is essential
