About the Role:
We are looking for a dependable, proactive House Cleaner with basic nursing experience to provide both household support and simple healthcare assistance. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, compassionate, and confident handling routine health monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised home environment (general cleaning, tidying, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
Perform basic health checks, including taking and recording blood pressure
Carry out diabetes finger-prick glucose tests
Accurately enter health data into an Excel spreadsheet
Monitor medication levels and request repeat prescriptions from the GP before they run out
Prepare simple and healthy lunches
Work independently, using your initiative to manage daily tasks and anticipate needs
Requirements:
Experience in housekeeping and basic nursing or care support
Ability to use Excel for simple data entry
Strong attention to detail and a proactive work style
Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
Good communication and organisational skills
Qualifications
Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Nice-to-have skills include cooking, customer service experience, or familiarity with specialised cleaning techniques
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work and clients
Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
