Self-Employed Housekeeper - Holiday Cottages at Preston Hall

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

self-employed housekeeper

to join our friendly team at

Preston Hall

, helping to maintain our

three charming holiday cottages

to a high standard.

Located in the heart of the Midlothian countryside, our cottages welcome guests seeking comfort, style and a peaceful getaway -- and your role is key to making that experience special.

Role Details:

Location:

Preston Hall Estate, Midlothian / East Lothian border (EH35)

Hours:

Mondays and Fridays (core changeover days)

Start Date:

Flexible

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out full changeover cleans in our three holiday cottages Make up beds to a high standard (linen and towels provided) Clean bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and outdoor spaces Check supplies and report any damage or maintenance issues Ensure each property is guest-ready to our high quality standards

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has professional cleaning or housekeeping experience (ideally in holiday lets or hospitality) Is organised, punctual and takes pride in their work Has great attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude Has their own transport (essential due to location)*
Can work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
