We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a housekeeper on Ward 4 at Coalville Community Hospital which provides assessments of patients following discharge from acute hospitals. The main role of the Housekeeper is to assist the ward team in carrying out general ward duties or delegated nursing duties and working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring standards.
Your contracted hours will be worked over a roster in conjunction with colleagues, Monday to Sunday between the hours of 07.00 and 19.00.

Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
This role includes but is not limited to
Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration to include serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them.
Maintaining a tidy and welcoming ward environment.
Sitting with patients who may require one to one support and supervision.
Managing stores and store rooms.
Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audit tools.
