Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes and commercial establishments. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all rooms are cleaned to the highest standard, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and clothing. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner. Occasionally assist with cooking or meal preparation when required. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items. A background in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments is essential.
