Job Summary:
Here at the Roker Hotel, we are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean and orderly environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Duties:
- Clean and tidy all areas in the hotel including guest rooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Make beds, change linens, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Vacuum carpets and sweep floors
- Empty bins and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish amenities such as drinking glasses, soaps, and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role required
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
1 year Experience in Hospitality or Hotel Industry
