Job Summary

Following our guest room refurbishment we are about to open an additional floor and as such we are seeking dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments. This role involves performing cleaning duties in a hotel setting, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and garments. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the establishment.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred. Experience in a hotel environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
