We are looking for Housekeeping Assistant who is keen to take on supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant Head Housekeeper. This will involve supervisory tasks on their days off and holiday cover.
What does the role involve?
Cleaning guest bedrooms, which includes, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, checking guest supplies and ensuring that the room is well presented and welcoming for our guests
Cleaning public areas and toilet facilities
Assisting with laundry duties, as required
Carrying out general hotel cleaning duties, as required
Carrying out Floor Supervisor duties when required, including allocating rooms to Housekeeping Assistants, conducting checks of bedrooms and public areas and addressing issues to ensure all areas meet agreed standards
Conducting stock check reports on a daily basis
What are we looking for?
Previous Housekeeping/cleaning experience, ideally within a hotel
Previous supervisory experience is advantageous
Good communication skills
Pleasant mannerism and flexible, 'can do' attitude
High standards and attention to detail
Ability to work flexibly on a rota basis 5 days out of 7, with weekend work included
