We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with experience in hotel or janitorial settings. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
Follow established procedures for cleaning, including the use of appropriate chemicals and techniques.
Requirements
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
Janitorial experience is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
