Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, particularly within hotel environments, and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a pristine environment. Vacuum carpets and mop floors to remove dirt and debris. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and well-organised. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Assist with laundry duties as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred, particularly in hotels. Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
