Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and hotel management, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operation, which includes cleaning rooms Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout the property. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing ongoing support and guidance. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain health and safety standards within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping within the hotel industry is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in using cleaning equipment and understanding cleaning chemicals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
